Heartspring School is dedicated to helping children ages 5 through 21 who struggle with Autism, speech and language impairment, Downs Syndrome, maladaptive behaviors and other developmental disabilities and special needs. Heartspring offers a safe residential therapeutic environment in which they work with students through evidence-based and emerging practices in order to provide academic, psychological and medical care; speech pathology and occupational therapy and additional therapies that facilitate the needs of each student using standards set by the National Autism Center National Standards Project.

Heartspring develops and implements individualized plans for each student. Through these Educational Plans Heartspring is able to focus on decreasing inappropriate behaviors and increase students independence while maintaining a multi-tiered support system for the students and their families.

The mission at Heartspring is: To be a leader and innovator in providing clinically supported services through education and therapies for children with special needs to empower them to grow and learn on a path to a more independent life.
